Phone number ☎️ 02045255525 👆 is reported as a persistent caller linked to MyHeritage, often following users’ activity on their website or subscription status. The number typically features aggressive marketing tactics to persuade recipients into paid subscriptions. I tried ringing 020 4525 5525 but got no response. Then, not long after, I received a callback from MyHeritage, which seemed totally legit. I’d phoned them earlier and they said they’d call me back with the info I needed. At no point did they ask for any bank info or anything like that.

I keep getting these calls and I just block them straight away. They’re definitely scams.

Got a call from My Heritage the other day, they were pushing hard for me to subscribe to their service.

Somebody rang, claimed to be from my heritage or something, then just ended the call. Strange!

I picked up the phone on the second ring today but nobody spoke when I answered. They'd called once before that too.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from My Heritage, trying to pitch me a better deal. I told her no thanks, and she replied with a surprised, "Really? Okay, thanks," then just ended the call. Weird thing is, she even knew my name.

i think it was cause i searched my family history online using one of those free sites. these guys are non stop, trying to get you to subscribe and clearly ringing more people than they can manage. when i answered, i could hear them chatting to someone else before it disconnected. the calls come from somewhere in south asia and the names they give are usually andrew, norman, david, or michael, but their english isn’t great. it feels really dodgy, especially since they pretend to call from a uk number.

i reckon it had something to do with my heritage, since i’d only just started looking at a free family tree online. these people dont give up, always pushing for you to sign up, and they ring loads more folks than they can talk to properly. when they called me, they were already on the phone with someone else, i caught some of the convo before it dropped. the calls come from somewhere in south asia, and the people on the line always use names like andrew, michael, david or norman but their english isn’t great. feels a bit dodgy to me, especially when they use a uk number to ring up.

My phone rang while I was already talking to someone else, so I couldn’t pick up. They didn’t leave a voicemail either. I’d just been browsing the heritage website before the call, so after seeing some of the other comments, it’s got me a bit suspicious.

About ten minutes ago I got a ring from this number. It was someone from My Heritage, the genealogy site. They’re currently offering free access to their family records online, but then they try to get you to sign up for a paid subscription. This isn’t the first time it’s happened either, I’ve had two calls from them in the past year. I said no thanks nicely and added the number to BT Call Protect to stop any more calls.

Got a call from someone named Jonathan claiming to be from My Heritage wanting me to approve some sort of upgrade. Honestly, didn’t sound very genuine at all.

I didn’t pick up when this number rang, but after reading what others have said, I’m guessing it might’ve been My Heritage. I did start signing up for their subscription but never actually finished it. If that’s true, their marketing feels way too pushy and annoying.

Today I got two calls from this number. I'm usually pretty cautious and don’t pick up numbers I don't recognise. But on the second ring, I answered, and to my surprise the guy on the line called me by my first name! I just hung up straight away. How on earth did this bloke find out my name?

Someone rang claiming to be from My Heritage. I told her I wasn’t keen on renewing my subscription which I’d just cancelled. She snapped back, saying she hadn’t asked me about that. When I asked what the call was about, she said she just wanted to check if I had any questions. I told her it was basically a cold call and asked her not to bother me further.

This number called me a moment ago and at first I figured it was just some spam. But as we chatted a bit more, it turned out they were actually from my heritage group and were trying to get me to join a subscription service.

I think this might be from MyHeritage. I tried to check out their website to see some family history, but it just led me straight to a subscription sign-up. Not long after, I got a call from a private number, then another from a mobile which I instantly hung up on. A few minutes later, this very number called again but I just ignored it since I had no idea who it was. That’s some pushy marketing if you ask me!

It’s Sunday 1st August, about quarter to four in the afternoon. Who even calls at this time on a Sunday?! I ignored the phone since I didn’t know the number. After seeing some comments about this number, it might be related to ‘My Heritage’ since I ordered a couple of kits just last night. Still, the person who rang never bothered to leave a voicemail.

I’ve got a free My Heritage account for my family tree stuff. They sent me an email about a special offer, and right after I clicked the link, someone rang me up out of the blue. Wasn’t expecting that call at all.

I think this was a real follow-up call linked to something I did on MyHeritage online, especially since I got emails from them too. The guy on the phone spoke with an American accent and already knew details about my family tree that I’d put in. Even though I do have an account, it isn’t fully active and I don’t pay for a subscription. So, it’s no shock they’re eager to get me to upgrade. He was offering a nice discount plus a free gift card, which almost convinced me because their service seems pretty decent. Still mulling it over though. Just a heads up - if you’re thinking about it, double-check they’re legit before handing over any payment info.

Today I got an email about some deal from MyHeritage. I followed the link and it took me to a sign-up page. I chose not to go ahead with it, but less than half an hour later, this number rang me claiming to be from MyHeritage. I never gave them my phone number, so honestly, this feels like either a clever scam or just some pushy sales tactic.
