5 yearsReceived a call from some so-called energy assessors claiming they had details about new pricing options. They seemed to know which energy provider I use and had my full address as well! However, they didn’t have a clue about the type of meter I have, whether I pay monthly or by direct debit, or even the amount I’m paying-which I was certainly not going to reveal. Once they realised I wouldn't share further details, they abruptly ended the call. I have a strong suspicion I’ve encountered this chap’s voice on another number tied to a different dodgy scheme. I’m convinced this is a scam. It makes me think that they might have snagged my info from an email I had received since there are platforms that can easily obtain personal data like energy supplier affiliations and home addresses. Total scam alert! If you receive a similar call, I highly recommend you refrain from engaging or disclosing any personal details-just hang up, block the number, and report it.5 yearsSome bloke called saying he was doing an energy survey and wanted to tell me about new tariffs. Creepy thing is, he already knew my energy provider and full address! But he didn’t know what sort of meter I have or if I pay by monthly or direct debit. I wasn’t about to give him any info, so he just said the call can’t go on. I swear I’ve heard that voice before on another number, probably another scam. Feels like they’re trying to phish for details. Maybe it came from an email I got - I’m sure they got my info somewhere. There are websites where people’s energy suppliers and addresses are, unfortunately, easy to find. Absolute scam. Don’t answer these calls, never give any info, just hang up, block and report them straight away.5 yearsI just got a phone call from someone claiming to be Bulb, saying they wanted to check my account details. They asked if I paid monthly or by direct debit, so I told them if they really had my details, they’d already know. They admitted they didn’t, so I ended the call straight away. Seemed fishy to me, probably a scam. I’m gonna reach out to Bulb myself now, but watch out everyone, be careful with these calls!Bulb5 yearsThey've rung me a few times lately, and I actually answered yesterday. They mentioned something about my electricity and gas. I told them I wasn't interested and quickly hung up. Today they've tried again but all I could hear was background noise. I've blocked the number now. Funny enough, since switching tariffs with Eon and getting a smart meter fitted, i've been getting loads of calls about my utility bills from different numbers...Eon5 yearsWhat a load of rubbish!5 yearsWhen I picked up this call, the person on the other end just hung up right away.5 yearsJust another junk call, nothing but spam.5 yearsWhenever I pick up, there’s just dead silence on the other end 🤬5 yearsJust another annoying spam call, nothing interesting.5 yearsThey rang me thrice today and also called twice yesterday.
