Got two calls this morning. The first was just dead silence, no idea what that was about. The second was definitely a call centre, could hear loads of noise in the background. Some guy with a really thick foreign accent claimed he was from a mobile network. I ended it straight away and blocked the number. Feels like a scam to me.

So these people rang me saying they were from UK Mobile and asked for my info for a new SIM, and I gave it to them. Then a package came with not just the SIM but also an iPhone X. They said it was sent by mistake and wanted it back, which we did. But after sending the phone back, I got a letter from O2 (the original company) saying I owe £60 a month for the phone over 24 months. Tried calling them loads but no reply. Got a call from a guy called Brian, sounded Asian, claiming he worked for Vodafone and was pushing a phone deal for £25 a month. If he really was with Vodafone, he’d have known my name and that I bought a new phone only a few months back. The call centre was pretty noisy in the background, but at least my dogs were making more noise than him. Ended the call pretty quick.
