Totally a scam, no doubt about it. I’ve had loads of calls from this number and others like it in the past week. When I pick up, it’s mostly just silence before they hang up. To be honest, I couldn’t make head nor tail of what the bloke was rambling on about, and before I knew it, he’d hung up after barely ten seconds. Got a call from this number today - no one spoke, just silence. I’ve been getting calls from numbers like this quite a bit recently. Every time I block one, another similar one rings me the next day or so. Now I just ignore and block straight away. They’ll probably give up before I do! Got a call from this number today at lunch on my mobile, but it didn’t ring, just a missed call alert later on. Looked it up and found out this number’s dodgy. Maybe they want folks to ring back? What a con! I've been bombarded with calls from similar digits, each time dealing with either someone trying to have a row or pushing a dodgy product.
