I got calls a couple of times from different 020 numbers, and it’s clearly a scam. It came from some call centre in India. The folks on the other end were really rude and kept hassling me when I tried hanging up. They even called me again after I ended the call. I don’t understand why this kind of persistent bothering isn’t considered a criminal offence.

I had a couple of calls from this number on Tuesday, February 20th, at 11:22 and 11:35. I attempted to pick up one of the calls but just as I placed it to my ear, I was greeted with a robotic voice saying, "Goodbye."

I’d wager it's definitely a scam.

Honestly, I’d just block that number straight away. They keep calling over and over, which gets really frustrating if you’re already chatting to someone else.

This number showed up flagged as a possible scam, so I picked up. I just heard some sort of automated message saying goodbye and then the line cut off. Decided to block it right away.

Got a ring from this number around 11:35 this morning. I usually don’t pick up if I don’t know the caller, but today I gave it a go. After answering, there was that awkward pause like the automated system was trying to connect me to one of their dodgy agents. They said they were from Carphone Warehouse, but I just told them “nope” and hung up straight away. Would suggest anyone else just blocks this number and doesn’t bother answering.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, but I’m pretty sure it was a complete scam. Total rubbish if you ask me.

On the 20th of February, 2024, I received a rather unsettling call from this number. A mechanical voice ominously proclaimed, "You die!" before the line abruptly dropped. It certainly feels like some sort of malicious prank or harassment. To add to my concerns, my WhatsApp was compromised a fortnight ago, and ever since, I've been inundated with eerie calls like this one.
