Got a call earlier today and I picked up. At first, the person claimed to be from my phone company, then quickly switched to saying they had discounted phones for sale. I kept saying ‘no thanks’ but she just kept going on. In the end, she told me to ‘go to hell’ - which, honestly, can’t really happen since it’s not a real place. Received a call on my mobile but let it ring out as they've been persistent with their attempts. Blocking doesn’t seem fruitful as they merely alter the last few digits each time. It’s pointless to ask them to stop calling; Bill, Ted, Tony, and Diane all share that same annoying accent and don’t seem to grasp the message of “go away.” They're relentless in their attempts to fleece you and certainly don't bat an eyelid at it. The best course is to just disregard them altogether, although I secretly hope they eventually lose my number. Sadly, that seems unlikely since they likely purchase numbers from those large companies whose services I've previously used. The whole data protection concept is rather farcical, if you ask me!

Much to my surprise, it was a lady with a pronounced Asian accent asking how I was.
