Got a ring from a number I didn’t recognise, but it hung up after just one ring.

So, this guy with a strong Asian accent called saying he was from O2 and claimed he could slash my phone bill by 40%. It was quite funny because when I told him my address was 'Telephone Fraud Street', he still kept going!

Got a call pretending to be from my phone company, trying to sell me the newest mobile. They said my provider passed on my number to them. I asked to speak to their manager and told them I was on the do not call list, so their call was illegal. They just told me they can ring me whenever they like and there’s nothing I can do to stop it.
