If you check the comment below, number 9 explains what you should do to deal with these scams properly. Just blocking the number isn’t effective at all. They’ll simply ring you again, this time from loads of different fake UK numbers made by computers.

I could smell a rat straight away, especially when he insisted I stay on the line to speak to his "manager" (as if I was some gullible fool or something! 😂). Naturally, I hung up and, to my surprise, they called me back from 01887593464. I answered, only to promptly hang up on the bloke. Clearly, he overestimated my naivety! Honestly, I tried dialling back both numbers, but they just led me to the “sorry, wrong number” message. Classic scam artists. If only they would channel that energy into legitimate work and earn a proper living instead of trying to swindle unsuspecting folks! What a bunch of losers! 🥴🥴
