Got a call from someone saying they were from "social housing" but never mentioned any council or company, which made me suspicious right away. They said I'd got mould damage and that I could get compensation. When I asked for details about the damage, since they should have the info, all they would say was mould. I just ended the call, blocked the number, and reported it to 7726.

They said they were calling from Currys PC World, but I remember the name Carphone Warehouse from a while back. Haven't had any dealings with either of them since about 2014 or so.

I get calls like all the time, sometimes a few times a day from the same number. Most of the time, they just cut off the moment I pick up. It’s really frustrating.

They hung up right just as I was about to pick up.

They said they were crypto trading brokers and I decided to put some money in. When I tried to take my cash out, they kept asking for way more payment than what I originally put in. Every time they said that was the final fee and I'd get my money after that, but it's still nowhere to be seen. At a loss here, no idea how to recover my funds. Really need some advice.
