Dodgy number, that one! The caller's English was quite poor, claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. They inquired whether I owned an iPhone or Samsung. I firmly said, "Not a chance, I'm not divulging what device I've got!" and promptly, they hung up. To add to that, I’ve never made a purchase from Carphone Warehouse in my life!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Three, who offered me a contract for an iPhone 13. They mentioned that they could arrange to cancel my existing deal as well. Quite surprising, to say the least!

I answered, but there was nothing on the other end. The call just went silent.

When I picked up the call, there was absolute silence on the other end. It might just be one of those dodgy call-back scams. Perhaps it’s linked to some shared expense thing. Who can tell? I suppose I’ll discover the truth when the bill lands on my doormat.
