If these callers were really above board, surely they’d take a moment to drop a message with their contact details and outline the purpose of their call?

Got a call from someone claiming to be Citizens Advice, which was odd since I already have the correct number saved. The weird thing was they even knew my name. They asked if I had any problems with debt. I do have some debt, but it’s all sorted, so I asked what exactly they were ringing about. After a long silence with noises of people chatting and phones ringing in the back, the line just cut off. Definitely going to block that number now.

Got a call where they used my name, I just let it ring a bit while checking who was calling. I asked if he was from TELNYX and he just kept saying my name, begging me to stop. When I pressed him about who he actually worked for, he just cut the call. The guy said his name was Jerry but sounded Indian.

Some dodgy bloke rang asking for me. I wanted to know who it was, but he just kept quiet. When I asked again who he was, he replied with a really creepy, mocking voice like "Who am I?" and then just cut me off. Proper weird.

Got a call smack dab in the middle of The Queen’s funeral 🙄. They said they were from the Citizens Advice Bureau or something. I told the bloke he was interrupting a really important moment and he just started shouting at me and then cut me off. Honestly, no manners, not even on a day like this. Proper disrespectful!
