I just had a rather peculiar call from Carphone Warehouse. They were offering a rather tempting £40 deal for an iPhone Pro Max complete with unlimited data, calls, and international coverage. Even received a confirmation email from [email protected]. However, they requested a payment of £30-40 to secure the offer, which instantly raised a red flag for me. It just doesn’t seem right! Thankfully, I’ve not shared any of my banking info with them.
