I mentioned I was affiliated with the police, suggesting he should get in touch with them directly. He seemed quite apologetic and promptly ended the conversation. Second call: Then there was a woman, also with an Asian accent, who said she was ringing on behalf of Ofcom to discuss reduced rates for landlines. In hindsight, I should have drawn it out a bit longer, but honestly, at 8:40 in the morning, that was the last thing I wanted to entertain!Ofcom4 yearsMy landline received two calls in quick succession, both within a matter of days, one at 12:19 and the other at 12:26. The first time, I answered and inquired about the purpose of the call, as I needed to head out. The bloke on the other end rudely hung up, exclaiming, "Sod off, will you?"
