Really clear these are scammers, they just drop the call if you start asking questions, so best to not pick up at all.

This has to do with Vodafone and their sim-only plans or mobile contracts. They usually reach out through places like Carphone Warehouse, even if you’re still tied into your current contract and not allowed to switch or upgrade yet. Basically, they want you to change your deal, but it can be pretty annoying when they call you while your existing contract is still running because you can’t do much about it at that point.

Somebody called saying they could cut down 80% of what I owe. It sounded a bit dodgy, so I just ended the call.

I received a rather dodgy call today from an Indian chap using this number. He began quizzing me about my broadband service and went on about how I was at risk and that he could assist in safeguarding my information. It’s truly ridiculous! It’s a classic scam, and to top it off, the irony is palpable; this fella is the one trying to get hold of my personal details!

I've had this same Indian sounding person ring me up three times now, saying they're from Carphone Warehouse or something like that.

I picked up the phone and they claimed to be calling from Carphone Warehouse, but I ended the call pretty fast. I've never bought anything from them or shared my details, so I reckon it was just a spam call. I looked up Carphone Warehouse numbers online and this one definitely doesn’t match any official contact.

Got a call from someone asking about our router, seemed really dodgy, like they were maybe trying to trick us into giving bank info. Definitely felt off to me.

somebody told me it was from curry’s phone company, but when i asked them to say it again they just cut the call off on me.

The call came through but ended almost straight away, just about 2 seconds. Tried ringing back but it just put me through to some agency, so I’d guess it’s probs spam.
