I received a rather alarming voicemail that seemed to come from the HMRC, instructing me to press 1 if I wished to evade a lawsuit and other legal repercussions. It definitely gives off a suspicious vibe, so I'd advise anyone to block this number immediately. I've even gone and reported it to the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) for good measure.

I got a call from someone saying they were from my life insurance company. They kept going on about some tax changes to my policy and asked if I was aware of them. When I told the woman I didn’t actually have that policy, she suddenly got quite rude and asked why I hadn’t said so earlier, then just hung up on me.

I got a call claiming to be from HMRC threatening me with arrest if I didn’t ring them back. Honestly, it’s best to just ignore and block these sorts of calls - they’re really dodgy and could cause serious trouble. Don’t engage with them at all!

This number keeps ringing me too, different versions of it. I looked it up online and all the reviews were pretty bad. Don’t think it’s from Sky or EE, but not sure. It’s definitely on my block list now along with a bunch of others.
