watch out for calls from people with indian or pakistani accents claiming to be from currys. they try to trick you into upgrading your phone but it’s totally a scam. don’t fall for it!

Some bloke called saying I owed taxes. Heads up to anyone getting asked stuff like "can you hear me?" if you answer "yeah," they might take it as permission to get into your bank info, assuming they have it. Best not to say yes at all. If they ask, just say no.

I’d advise against answering any calls from this number. It’s not a legitimate Carphone Warehouse line. I received a call from this number, and it turned out to be a scammer trying to lure me in with some so-called special offers on mobile phones, all while asking for my bank information.
