I received a call from someone claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, inquiring about my mobile provider. When I informed him that it was not his place to know, he became quite aggressive, threatening to smack me and even had the nerve to call me a fool. I promptly ended the conversation!

I wasn't familiar with this number, so I decided to let it slide and subsequently activated the Hiya feature to automatically block any scam or spam calls coming through. Lately, there have been a plethora of unsolicited calls, so I’ve made it a rule not to answer any numbers I don't recognise. If the matter is urgent, surely they'll drop a message or leave a voicemail!
