My phone kept ringing and I ignored the call. Later I looked it up online and found out it was a scam, luckily my phone blocked it.

haven't got a clue who keeps ringing me. they've been at it a few times but i usually just pick up if i know the number. honestly, it's getting proper annoying now. there must be some method to block these lot. i'm signed up with the tps but they just can't seem to handle the flood of calls.

Got a call from someone saying they were with “Kevin Bolton Solicitors” about a crash I supposedly told them about. I asked for their SRA number but they refused to give it, saying they weren’t allowed. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

got a call from someone asking about a crash i was involved in a couple years back. i admitted it was my own fault since i'd been drinking quite a bit and was on #### then. sadly, he wasn't able to offer me any cash. seemed like a total scam to me.

Received a couple of calls, the initial one was a couple days back where I asked if they could ring me later. They phoned again just now, claiming to be working with Kevin Bolton Solicitors based in Manchester. When I mentioned I had my documents prepared, they provided an address, something like 214 The Buffer, MI5 4NU. Upon denying any accident, the caller got quite hostile and started pushing me to invent a claim. I've since reported this behaviour to the ICO.

Got a dodgy call earlier, I’m guessing they got my phone from that autoglass repair form I filled in just yesterday. Seems fishy to me.

total scam, this bloke said he was from some claims dept. i asked him which one exactly, but he couldn’t give me a straight answer. i told him he was trying to scam me and then he cut me off. suspicious foreign accent too.

Today, I received a phone call informing me that I might be entitled to some compensation related to my accident. To be quite frank, I'm convinced it's a scam!

I got a call from someone claiming to know about a recent accident I’d been involved in. I asked them what info they had so I could check if it matched the one I was thinking of. The guy quickly got annoyed, demanding I just answer yes or no about the accident. I told him that if he really had the details, he’d know already since he’d phoned me. Then, out of the blue, he just hung up. Total con artists. It’s laughable really - I don’t even drive!

I received a rather dubious call from a chap who had a distinctly Asian accent. He insisted that I’d been involved in a dreadful car accident, which, mind you, I’ve no recollection of, and he quite boldly claimed he could help me secure £4000 in compensation. He then proceeded to request my bank information so he could, as he put it, facilitate the transfer. It’s beyond obvious this is a phishing scam!

Just received a call from these people claiming to discuss a car accident I supposedly had. Quite amusing really, considering I've never been behind the wheel and have certainly never been involved in any sort of crash. What a load of nonsense!

My voicemail was absolutely bombarded, yet there wasn't a single message left behind. All I could make out was the sound of traffic in the background.

Got a call claiming there was an accident. I told the bloke I’d actually had a nasty one that very morning. Then he passed me onto some “expert” and I told them the accident wasn’t my fault. Mentioned I’d been involved in a rough incident on the tube that day, had a dodgy Indian meal the night before, and ended up farting but accidentally soiled myself. They just ended the call straightaway.

I got a call from someone saying they're from an accident support service, asking if I'd been in a car accident in the last couple of years. I told them I’d literally just crashed my car, like right then, because I was talking on the phone with them (even though I was actually at home). They just ended the call straight away lol.

I was trying to remember a name I last used over a decade ago (mostly I use fake names for sign-ups and stuff) - turns out, someone’s saying I got mis-sold PPI back in 1994, which is funny because I was only 7 then!

This number's been ringing me on Sunday, calling loads of different phones over and over. Definitely a scam tryin to push bitcoin on me. I've already invested and hold since the price is so cheap right now, but only in my own country. I don’t trust anything from outside because 90% of those are dodgy these days. I’ve blocked about 50 numbers from abroad already.

Loads of scam firms use this local number to call about made-up stuff like plane delays or supposed accidents, it’s just a call rerouter for all their shady schemes.
