Got a call where no one spoke, just silence on the other end. Bit creepy really.

Just got a call from Carphone Warehouse saying there’s a 40% off deal going on. Thought I’d share in case anyone’s interested!

Got a call from someone pretending to be O2, saying there were discounts available and asking for a code they claimed had just been sent to me. Luckily, I remembered the texts warn you never to share that code, so I ended the call and rang O2 myself. They told me it was a scam. Nearly got caught out, but glad I paid attention to the messages properly before handing over anything. The caller sounded pretty legit though, so watch out!

I didn’t recognise the number, so I let it ring. Honestly, what’s the point? Seems like they’re just trying to con someone out of their hard-earned cash. It's a real disgrace!

Beware of fraudsters posing as representatives from Carphone Warehouse. It's a complete con!

I got a call from 02045203984 once more but decided to ignore it since the last time it was a scam. I've already reported it to Action Fraud. Everyone should be careful not to share any personal info and make sure to report it to the police through Action Fraud. Keep your identity safe and trust the authorities to handle it. The more folks who report this number, the better chances the police have of sorting it out.

They’ll lure you in with an irresistible deal-like a whopping 40% off-and then suddenly want your bank information. Honestly, get a real job, will you?

I received a rather suspicious call from someone claiming I was involved in a car accident, of which I had absolutely no recollection. This individual went on to say they could arrange for me to receive compensation from an imaginary insurance payout. Naturally, they requested my bank information to finalise this dubious transaction.

BEWARE of scams! If you get one of these dodgy calls or texts, make sure you report it. Just search for ‘action fraud’ on Google and head over to the official police.uk website. There’s a section where you can report phishing scams - take a moment to read all the info carefully. Then, you can submit the scam details straight onto their system. Don't worry, you won't need to sign up or give away any personal info. The best way to help the cops track how bad these fraud attempts are is by reporting every suspicious message or call you get.

The phone rang and as soon as I picked up, they just ended the call straight away. Pretty sure they've figured out I'm one of those people who actually answers.

I got a call from a guy who introduced himself as "Steven" and told me to #### listen to him - honestly, that was quite the unexpected treat during my usual day 😂😂

Got a call from some Asian guy claiming to give away a brand new phone, said it was some iPhone 54 or something like that. He said he needed info like my name, address, postcode, bank sort code and account number to 'send' it. Bit dodgy if you ask me, doesn’t sound real at all 😂

Somebody called claiming to be from O2, offering a 40% discount and wanted my one-time account code. I rang up O2 directly to check and they told me it was definitely a scam.

Had a call from someone pushing a phone deal with ‘massive savings’ or something, but couldn’t make much sense of it as they spoke hardly any English and just kept going through some script that was clearly confusing them too.

Someone called saying they were with O2. I asked them to prove who they were speaking for, but they said they couldn't say because it was confidential and they’d get sacked if they did - typical scammy line about losing a job. They went on about how I'd save loads on my contract, so I stalled to waste their time. In the end, I told them I wasn’t with O2 at all, but a different provider, and politely told them to buzz off and stop trying to scam folks.

They said they were from Carphone Warehouse, but it was definitely a scam. Looks like they're using loads of different names to trick people.

Someone rang me out of the blue, bringing up some 'police report about an accident', and even after I said my number's on the telephone preference service, she just wouldn’t stop chatting.

Got a call on my phone from this number the other day. A woman’s voice started talking, asking if I’d been in a car crash. I tried asking “When did this happen?” but it seemed like they weren’t ready for that kind of reply. It was clear pretty quick that it was just some automated script they were going through. I asked again about the timing and then the call just ended. Such a waste of time, just a bunch of ambulance chaser scammers who honestly deserve to be given a one-way ticket to oblivion.

Someone rang me, asserting they were from O2, talking about my contract nearing its end-only problem is, I don’t even have an O2 contract! They've already attempted to get through to me twice, and I chose to give the second call a miss. Quite suspicious!
