So many calls today, I told them to stop harassing me but they just kept going with the same spiel. I got pretty annoyed because they weren't listening at all. I've blocked the numbers, but somehow they manage to call me from different ones every time.

So I called this number and kept my number private. The lady on the other end mentioned something like ‘Abacus’ or a name close to that. She told me they’d just checked my details and if I didn’t want any more calls, I should press 1. Fingers crossed this means they’ll stop bombarding me with calls all day long, from early morning until late evening. Hope this info's useful to someone!

Some guy called "Gregory" with a strong Indian accent said he was ringing from the council about some repair I’d supposedly asked them to do. Thing is, he couldn’t even explain what the problem was. From the start, it was clear as day it was a scam, so I just challenged him on the dodgy name he gave and then ended the call. What a bunch of muppets.
