I didn’t pick up, but they accidentally left a voicemail. It was an Indian woman giggling and chatting in Hindi to someone else.

Total scammers, had to block them straight away.

Got a call at about 3:25pm but as soon as I picked up they just dropped the line. Tried calling back using a hidden temporary number but they didn't pick up. I get tons of calls like this every day, so I’ve labelled it as spam.

Got a call at 3:55pm on the 4th of November from 0204 5202433, asking about the age of my boiler. When I asked which company they were with, the person on the other end just abruptly ended the call. Seems like a boiler scam to me - be wary of these calls, looks like one of those dodgy scams, possibly from somewhere in Asia. Stay safe and don’t fall for it!

I just got a call on my home phone, it went straight to voicemail and nobody left a word. So, I thought I'd check who it was. Good job I did, those scammers driving me mad in this heat!

Those robbers from Asia, unbelievable.

Got a call on me landline, but it’s set up to only accept calls from people I know. The number wasn’t familiar at all and they didn’t leave any voicemail or message either. Bit odd, really.

Got a recorded message on my phone from a robotic woman saying something about updating my boiler. Pretty weird and a bit annoying.

Got a call from a number, but when I answered, no one was there. Definitely felt like a scam.

Like a few others have mentioned, this was someone speaking with a thick Indian accent claiming to be from the “government boiler” department. Definitely a scam. Thankfully, the number’s blocked now.

Got a ringing from this number earlier today. Didn’t pick up, so it just went straight to my voicemail. Strange thing is, they didn’t leave any message but stayed on the line for quite a while like they were trying to listen if anyone was around or if there was any sound. Sounds like a scam to me. I’ve already blocked the number. Usually, I avoid answering calls that start with 0204 anyway because I’ve had dodgy calls from that code before.

Just got scammed by some lot pretending to do government boiler replacements. Be careful, they’re not legit!

No sound at all when they called, but most likely some kind of scam. The load of reports on this number says it all really.

At about 3.40pm on the 28th of October 2023, I got a call from this number. There was an Indian woman on the line who was pretty difficult to understand. She was asking how old my boiler was and said I could get some grant money to change it. Seemed like a total scam to me, but I thought I'd mess with her a bit for fun.

Got a call once from a woman with such a heavy accent, then no idea what she was on about at first. Turns out she was talking about gas boilers or something like that. I just messed her around for a bit before ending the call.

Got a call out of the blue about swapping my boiler. The person didn’t even know who I was or where I lived.

Got a silent call on Friday 27th October 2023. I reckon this means a load of scam calls are about to flood in over the next few weeks. Really hope Ofcom can put a stop to these fraudsters soon.

A bloke called himself Robert, but his company wasn’t clear at all. All he kept going on about was how old my boiler was, asking me repeatedly, "How old’s your boiler, ma’am?" Sounded like he had a strong foreign accent and he was really insistent. Proper annoying.

I just don’t get why Ofcom doesn’t shut down these scam numbers once they’re reported. You’d think they’d be able to do something about them by now. It’s so frustrating when nothing changes even after you alert them.

Got a call about a boiler scam today. I joked that I’d just won the lottery and was off to live in a fancy mansion with servants. Then I asked if he wanted a job selling the same kind of scam. He just said “have a good day” and hung up. Made me chuckle quite a bit at his expense!

My phone just buzzed showing 02045 202433. It looked a bit dodgy so I didn’t pick up. They didn’t bother to leave a voicemail either. In the past week, I’ve had a few calls from numbers ending in ...499 and ...466, which seem to be connected.

I was struggling to catch what she was sayin’ ‘cause her accent was so thick. She kept rambling about boilers older than 3 years or summat. Then she started calling me all sorts of nasty names, really cheeky. She kept insistin’ she wasn’t some criminal, but I told her she was, so I just ended the call. Before hangin’ up, she asked for my bank info to sort some claim or whatever.

There was no sound when I answered, so I'm pretty sure it's just another one of those scam calls.

TOTAL SCAM. When I called them out, they just laughed and boasted about how well off they are, claiming they're not feeling the pinch of the cost of living at all. They even bragged about buying a brand new Mercedes Benz, all because no one steps up to stop them. 🤬 The police told me to spread the word on social media and get everyone to share it. They said if enough folks do this, more people will know about these scams and how to spot them. Apparently, these scammers have swiped hundreds of thousands of pounds just in the last month, the Police confirmed.

This morning, I got a call from some so-called "company." The lady on the line had such a strong accent it was tough to get what she was saying. She was trying to give me a free boiler replacement offer. I had to keep saying over and over, "We don't own a boiler," about five times before she finally gave up and put the phone down.

I received a call from this number, but they seemed completely unaware of who I am. Their accent was so thick that it was nearly impossible to grasp what they were saying. It feels a bit dodgy when strangers ring me without knowing my name, don’t you think?

Got a call from a number that seems linked to 02045 202499 and 202466 earlier today.
