Received a call from 02025202055 at around 11am on 24/10/2021. They weren't too pleased when I said I'd rather sort payment by post instead of over the phone. When he asked for our bank sort code, I said no. Then he claimed we wouldn't get the discount if we paid by post. I told him we’d just cancel the insurance and look for another provider. Definitely left me feeling annoyed. Planning to ring our insurer to check if that call was legit.

Got a dodgy call today from someone saying they were from Utilita Hub about my gas boiler. Claimed British Gas had shared my details with them and that I could supposedly claim on my insurance for it - which is odd as I neither own the boiler nor the house. Told the guy I’d report him to the cops. Tried ringing back 02045202055 using a withheld number but it just said number’s not valid or not in service. Pretty sure it’s a fake number being used by some scam centre, possibly in Kolkata.
