This is the third time in a week they’ve called about a ‘washing machine’ and it’s really getting on my nerves. We even told them we don’t own one and they said it was for an old one we supposedly had... can you believe it? Complete SCAM.

I got a call from 02045203540, and when I answered, they wanted to talk to my dad, but he died back in January 2021. When my mum asked what it was about, they just hung up on her. She's been getting more early morning calls lately. We've tried blocking calls through BT but since the pandemic, the calls and scams have definitely increased. I was told if a number I don’t know shows up, I should just let it go to voicemail until I know who it is. Honestly, there should be better protection for vulnerable people like my mum.
