Just received a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to be called George, complete with an Indian twang, who insisted I’d hit the jackpot in a lottery I never entered. Thankfully, I had the sense not to fall for it and reveal any of my banking information. What a cheek!

Received a nuisance call bright and early! What an unwelcome start to the day.

Some bloke named George with a strong Indian accent rang up, saying I’d won some sort of ‘lottery’ and promised a 40% knock off all my future phone bills. I told him it was the company’s number anyway. He said, “Great, that means the discount applies to all company phones too!” Sounded a bit too good to be true. Then he said I’d have to reply with a special code to a text he’ll send. Seemed fishy if you ask me.
