Got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent, sounded like they were working in some call centre. They claimed to be from "The Phone House," which I think is what Carphone Warehouse is called in other countries. I told them straight up they were probably trying to scam me, but they denied it. Then I mentioned The Phone House isn’t even a thing here in the UK, and they just ended the call right away. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.
