They attempted to confirm their identity by requesting an OTP from a number that claims to be "02 UK" - but be warned, the legitimate texts I receive come from "02UK", sans the space. Stay vigilant!

The caller claimed to be from O2, but when I said that wasn’t true, there was silence for quite a while before I hung up.

I didn't pick up since the number was unfamiliar, and they didn’t leave a voice message, which I find a bit dodgy. Cheers to whoever posted that this might be a scam!

Got a call from +442045198300, some bloke pretending to be from O2. Said he already had all my info and could help reduce my phone bill. Then asked me to confirm a code they supposedly sent me. Don't ever hand over that one-time code to these fraudsters, no matter what!
