I received a dodgy call from someone claiming to be with EE, suggesting I could upgrade my contract. Definitely not someone you can rely on - seems like a scam to me!

SCAM ALERT. When I confronted them, they actually mocked me and boasted about how well-off they are, claiming they’re completely fine despite the cost of living crisis. They even bragged about buying themselves a brand new Mercedes Benz, all thanks to people not putting an end to their antics 🤯. The Police told me to spread the word on socials and urge others to share it, so that more folks can spot these scams before falling for them. Apparently, these scammers have swindled hundreds of thousands of pounds just in the past month alone, according to the authorities.
