this woman called saying she was with home force and spoke about my contract being up for renewal for sewers and drains cover on my property. I told her straight up they had no clue what they were on about as I dont have any contract with that company which tricked me half a year ago using that exact name. then I just hung up on her.

They claimed to be from Home Force, but that’s a Scottish firm and there’s no way they'd be cold calling people here in Oxfordshire. Sounds a bit dodgy to me.

thankfully I’ve got a BT phone with a nuisance call blocker, so this call got stopped right away. they must’ve hung up as soon as the answerphone started, didn’t even leave a message or anything.

Got a call from some random number, told them my missus wasn’t around, and they just hung up on me. Proper rude cold call that was.
