Got a call on my phone earlier from a number I didn’t recognise. I ignored it and now I’m blocking any calls from that number since it’s probably a scam. Not taking any chances with dodgy callers!

Got a call from an Indian bloke claiming he was ringing from EE about a phone contract upgrade. Didn’t even bother asking for me by name and I’m not even with EE at all. I told him flat out I have a contract with another network and I'm not interested. Afterwards, my phone flagged it as suspected spam, which makes me think it was a dodgy scam. Fair warning to anyone else - don’t carry on with these calls unless they properly say who they need, could be a nasty trick, especially for older folks. Proper dodgy business that could catch people out.
