I barely caught any sound during the call, just a din in the background, which likely indicates it’s from a call centre.

These days, I find it quite amusing not to utter a word when I pick up my phone. When it's a live person on the other end, they just go on saying "hello" repeatedly until they finally get a response. However, if it’s some automated service, it disconnects as soon as I stay silent. This particular number rang me up but hung up pretty quickly, so I reckon it must have been an automated caller.

I encountered a rather suspicious call earlier; it rang and rang before they even gave me a moment to respond, a definite warning bell right there. The caller claimed to be from some sort of company-couldn't quite catch the name, mind you-but I certainly wasn’t about to engage with any so-called 'company.' It's undoubtedly a scam of some sort. I hung up sharpish as soon as they opened their mouth. Absolute red flags everywhere!
