Received a call from someone claiming to be from "Currys PC World" trying to peddle an iPhone. When I inquired about how this chap with a distinct Indian accent obtained my number, he replied that his firm had it on record. However, when I pointed out that if they really had my number, they ought to know my name, his response was all over the place. After I pressed him, calling him out as a potential scam artist attempting to con me out of my hard-earned cash, he promptly disconnected. Quite the dodgy affair, I must say!
