Not sure what was going on, I just heard some background chatting but nobody actually talked to me before they ended the call. Probably safer to not get involved in these calls!

They called me up knowing my name and claimed I was owed a £980 rebate, then tried asking for my card details. I told them I didn’t have my card handy. They kept pushing, asking if I was certain. When I insisted I was, they got pretty rude, asking how they were supposed to send me the money without the details. I suggested they send a cheque instead, but they said that wasn’t possible. I tried to get more info about what the rebate was for, but they just hung up on me. I’ve blocked the number now, though they’ve tried ringing me a few times since. Definitely a scam in my book.
