Had a call from someone pretending to be Virgin Media, saying there were issues with our internet. Thing is, we don’t even have Virgin Media. They insisted we urgently let them access our computers to sort it out. Felt like a total scam from the start. When I questioned them, they started getting rude and aggressive.

Somebody called me with a really thick African accent, talking way too fast, so I couldn’t catch half of what he said. He claimed to be from a phone provider trying to sell an iPhone 13 for £30 a month. When I declined, he started pushing hard to get me to change my mind, so I just ended the call. If this were a legit company with real offers, they seriously need to get their team trained better on how to talk to customers and follow proper sales rules.
