Phone number ☎️ 02045174914 👆 is reported as a persistent scam operation posing as a mobile phone or utility company from London, often using familiar brand names to gain trust. Callers frequently offer discounts or pension advice but request sensitive information like passwords or upfront payments, with promises that refunds are easily available - these are unreliable. The numbers appear to be call-forwarded from overseas, making callbacks impossible. It is strongly advised not to share any personal or financial details and to remain cautious, as these calls are likely fraudulent attempts to access bank accounts or extract money under false pretences.

4 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were from Virgin Media, saying they could give me 30% off my bill. Since my account’s already got loads of discounts, I didn’t think they’d actually drop it more. They asked me for my password, which seemed dodgy, so I just ended the call. After that, they kept ringing me again and again.Virgin Media4 yearsI got a call from 02045174796 which showed up as a London number, but I reckon it was from abroad. The voice was hard to catch but they kept saying something about a ‘phone account’ and ‘currys’. When I asked them to explain clearly and repeat themselves, they just cut the call. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.London4 yearsMy phone showed a message saying "possible scam," so I just ignored it and didn’t pick up.4 yearsI got a call from someone saying their company name and the caller's name too. They wanted to offer me advice about my UK pension. When I asked who they were, I quickly told them I wasn’t interested at all. It really annoyed me that they'd ring up about something so private and personal without me asking for it.UK4 yearsSounds to me like a total con artist.4 yearsI’ve noticed the same 0204517 prefix popping up with different endings like 4930, 4670, 5283, and 4914. It seems like these calls come from what’s supposed to be a London-based mobile provider, but they never take calls back. I reckon they work with a forwarding service that lets them ring you from overseas, yet your phone shows a local London number. They call themselves the Fone Company or sometimes use the old Carphone Warehouse name, which no longer exists since Currys took over and shut it down. They try to convince you to hand over £40 upfront, claiming you can cancel anytime and get a refund. Don’t fall for it - once they’ve got your cash, they’ve got access to your bank, and can easily withdraw money without your permission.LondonFone CompanyCarphone WarehouseCurrys GroupSubmit Your Own Report (020 4517 4914)
