Got a call from someone abroad saying they needed to fix my computer. I just told them to buzz off and ended the call.

I received a call from someone who claimed to be representing Curry's. The individual made a tempting offer for some of the newest smartphones on a contract, and they promised a massive 50% cut on the price. However, they requested an upfront payment of £100, which made me suspicious.

I saw I had a missed call from a number I barely ever use while I was out. Seems pretty obvious it was a scam since I don’t really use that number for anything at all.

Some bloke called saying he was from fonehouse, whatever that is. I’ve never come across that company before. Totally scam vibes. He said he was ringing from NW6 - yeah, right! I held the line for about 5 minutes just to mess with him. Eventually, he got quite nasty and started getting aggressive. Classic scammer behaviour. Feels good knowing I spoiled his mood a bit.
