I couldn't quite make out what the person on the other end was saying, so I decided to hang up.

I was approached with a supposedly fantastic phone deal and was asked for my bank details, with the caller claiming to represent Carphone Warehouse. Fortunately, no funds have been deducted from my account as of yet, but the offer seemed rather dubious. I decided to reach out to Carphone Warehouse directly afterwards, and they confirmed that the entire conversation was indeed a fraudulent scheme. Just a heads-up for everyone to stay vigilant!
