Got a call that was automatically forwarded to some guy claiming he was from BT, said my IP was hacked by someone in California and they'd cut off my broadband in a couple of hours. He told me to call BT to check if it was legit, then ended the call. He rang back asking why I hung up, saying he needed to sort it out. I told him I wasn’t convinced, had no way to know he was genuine, then just ended it.
