4 yearsI received a call from someone claiming to be from Virgin Media, offering a rather tempting 30% off my bill. The first thing they asked was, "What’s the total of your bill?" To which I countered, “If you’re genuinely Virgin Media, wouldn’t you already know?” I went along with it and mentioned it’s £8 per month. The caller replied that it would then be £5 for a year. I then brought up my other account since I have two lines, and that’s when things took a bizarre turn. They nervously insisted they weren’t taking any money or anything, but I clarified that wasn’t my concern - I simply wanted to know what was happening with my other account.
