Blocked the number right away now!5 yearsGot a call from a guy with a really thick Indian accent who said his name was "Alex" and that he worked for Carphone Warehouse. He was trying to get me to hand over personal details and was really pushing hard to sell some new contracts. I mentioned that my number’s on the telephone preference service list, and he acted like he had no clue what that was. When I told him I’d be reporting him, he started making fun of me. Sounds like a dodgy scammer to me, but not exactly the best at it!AlexCarphone WarehouseTelephone Preference Service5 yearsGot a call about half past nine this morning, I’m up in North London. The person spoke with this weird accent that sounded like they were messing about, and when I acted a bit lost, they just said hello again in the exact same way. Found it quite funny, so I just chuckled and ended the call. Haven't heard from them since.North LondonSubmit Your Own Report (020 4517 4624)
