I would greatly appreciate it if these annoying calls could be put to an end.

Received a rather assertive call from this number. The gentleman on the other end claimed to be affiliated with Currys PC World, pitching an upgrade for my phone and SIM contract. His accent was noticeably foreign, which raised a few suspicions about the authenticity of his proposition. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Virgin Media's promo team offering a 40% discount on my bill. They said they’d send a form for me to sign and return, but the caller spoke with an Indian accent. I rang Virgin Media myself to check, and they confirmed it’s a scam. Best to stay clear of these calls!

I've gotten loads of calls from numbers that look really similar, and it feels like a dodgy call centre behind them. Each time, the person on the phone says they're from PC World, but I'm pretty sure it's a scam.

Got a missed call, EE marked it as possibly spam. The number was pretty similar to one I got before from India, but it had nothing to do with London. They were talking about mobile phones.

Got a call from 02045174451, some bloke with a really odd accent trying to get me to renew my mobile and SIM deal. Sounded like he was having a laugh or maybe messing around. Quite strange, really.

I just got a call from someone who was speaking with a really thick Indian accent. It was a bit hard to understand them properly, but you could definitely tell where they were from straight away.

Got another call from the same number today, but this time the person actually spoke. He claimed to be from some call blocking company, saying they'd help stop all those annoying telemarketing calls and update my call blocking settings or something. Bit odd, if you ask me.

I got a call on my mobile, but it was automatically flagged as possible spam, so I didn't pick up.
