A woman with an accent rang me and talked way too fast for me to catch anything she was saying, no idea where she was from. She only slowed down when she kept pestering me to verify my phone number, even tho she had called me herself!

The moment I pressed the issue, they abruptly terminated the call. If they really were from Carphone Warehouse, one would assume they could honour my request!

I recently received a phone call from someone purporting to be from Curry's PC World. I ended up toying with him for about twelve minutes, just stringing him along. I would advise caution, though! For those in need of further evidence that he wasn’t truly representing Curry's, I decided to give him three different first names. Then, I asked if he attended high school, followed by a cheeky query about who taught him to type. His replies were quite amusing! All in all, it was a rather entertaining exchange!
