I got a call from a guy who couldn’t even spell his own name correctly, said he was called Steve and that he’s from India somewhere. Bit fishy if you ask me.

A guy named Chris rang, said he was an energy advisor, spoke really well. Sounded familiar like from those scam calls I've had before but with a new number. Pretty sure it’s a con. Tried calling back and got a recorded msg with the same voice saying they called me for market research. Definitely dodgy.

When I pick up, it's just a load of beeps like a fax machine, no actual talking. If I do catch someone on the line I'll make sure they get a taste of their own medicine!

Somebody called me saying they were from a medical alert service, claiming I was entitled to a free alert button since I’m over 50. The way they spoke was so robotic and slow to reply, I reckon it was an automated system. Still, I let out all my frustration on the call for a bit of relief and then just ended it.

I had a look at Age Concern’s site and saw these devices usually cost no more than £20 a month. Definitely seems like a scam to me.

I just got a call from this number, they said something about alerts on my medical files so I thought it was from the NHS at first. The person on the phone kept insisting the device they were offering was free but then suddenly said it would cost a pound a day. When I caught on that they were actually trying to sell me something, I asked where they got my medical info from. Every time they just kept saying “my boss gives me a list of numbers to call.” Wouldn’t answer properly at all. Now I’m really concerned about who’s accessing my medical records. Be careful with these calls and definitely don’t give out any info.

So on Monday 24th Jan I got a call from a number that ended with 723. Then the next day, Tuesday 25th Jan, it was a different one, this time ending in 724. Wednesday 26th Jan? Yep, another call with the last digits 742. I never pick up numbers I don't know and already signed up for the TPS. Seriously, just quit it, will you?

Got a bloke who was really full of himself saying our loft insulation was rubbish and making condensation issues. Funny thing is, we only had it done recently! Then he tries pushing to send some "surveyor" over today. Honestly, it’s daft - how on earth would he have any idea what’s actually in our loft? Completely useless.
