A guy named Chris rang, said he was an energy advisor, spoke really well. Sounded familiar like from those scam calls I've had before but with a new number. Pretty sure it’s a con. Tried calling back and got a recorded msg with the same voice saying they called me for market research. Definitely dodgy.

When I pick up, it's just a load of beeps like a fax machine, no actual talking. If I do catch someone on the line I'll make sure they get a taste of their own medicine!

The way they spoke was so robotic and slow to reply, I reckon it was an automated system. Still, I let out all my frustration on the call for a bit of relief and then just ended it.

I inquired why I'd been singled out for this offer, and he mentioned that his manager had supplied him with my number. Curiously, he didn’t bring up anything about my local GP or Healthcare Trust. I did a bit of digging on Age Concern’s website and found that these devices only cost around £20 a month at most. This whole thing seems like a right con!

I just had a rather suspicious call from this number. The caller zoomed through his spiel about some alerts concerning my medical records, leading me to believe it was an official NHS communication. He kept insisting that the device would be free, but then switched his tune to claim it would cost £1 a day. It didn't take long for me to grasp that he was trying to sell me something. When I pressed him on how he obtained my medical information, he simply stated, ‘My boss gives me a list of numbers to call each day.’ He stuck rigidly to that line, offering no clarity at all. Now I’m left feeling quite uneasy about who might be rummaging through my medical history. Proceed with caution and don’t divulge any personal information to them!

To top it all off, on 26th January, I got a call from a number ending in 742. Despite being on the TPS list, I refuse to pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise! Seriously, do yourself a favour and just STOP trying-it's becoming a bit tiresome, honestly!

What an insufferable character! This bloke had the audacity to assert that our loft insulation was outdated and was the source of condensation issues. Mind you, we recently had the loft sorted out! To add insult to injury, he tried to shove some so-called "surveyor" our way today. It's utterly ludicrous - as if he’s got a clue about the state of our insulation!

I received a call from someone named Alex, who was quite pushy about providing me with a complimentary alarm service for the elderly. He kept emphasising that I needed to accept the offer right away, claiming that they were distributing just 15 alarms in my area. After a fair bit of back and forth, I managed to extract the monthly fee from him, which turned out to be £30. I requested his contact number so I could ring him back later, but he mentioned he needed to consult with his supervisor first. I didn't share any personal information and decided to hang up.
