Beware, my friends-these are classic phishing attempts at play! A caller purporting to be from O2 reached out, blathering on about enticing offers, including upgrading your device or slashing your bills. The second number connected to this ruse is 020 38834017. They've been ringing me consistently, both yesterday and today. Expect them to pry for personal information, far beyond what a reputable phone service would typically request. If you receive calls from either of these numbers, it would be wise to block and report them. If all else fails, simply terminate the call and reach out to your provider directly. These persistent male callers are a nuisance and the call quality leaves much to be desired. Don't be taken in by their trickery!

I got a call from this number +442045155027 saying they were from O2 with some kind of special deal. I naively believed them and said yes, but now I feel so stupid because they've taken money from my bank, and the payment shows a company name that’s nothing to do with O2. They promised to send an email with the contract info, but I never got anything in my inbox. Really wish I’d been more careful with this one.

I received a call from this number, and it was rather unsettling as they seemed to know an awful lot about my personal details. Apparently, they're connected to EE. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Yesterday I got a call from a strange number that felt like a scam, and today they sent me an email pretending to be from 3. The email asked me to ring a certain number, but I’m pretty sure it’s just another scam. Watch out!

Honestly, I wouldn’t answer that number if I were you.

Oi, watch out mate! This is totally a con, they even had the nerve to laugh at me. Lucky for me, I caught on quick and cancelled my cards straight away.

I just got a call about cancelling my phone bill, which is on 3. Funny thing is, I've never received any texts or emails from them before. When I asked for info about my current bill, they had nothing on file. Seems like a total scam to me.

They rang up claiming to be from EE and totally messed me about, changing my account password and all that, mentioning some order I supposedly had for an iPhone 14. Be cautious, they have a sneaky way of getting you with details that seem really convincing.

Got a call saying they could knock 10% off my bill, sounded a bit off. I couldn’t recall exactly how much my bill was, so I just threw out a figure. They gave me the supposed discount price, then after checking the real amount, they instantly changed their offer. That was a clear sign it was dodgy. Just a heads up for anyone reading this - never hurry, put them on hold if you need to, and never hand over any personal info without making sure they’re legit first.

This number keeps ringing me, claiming they're from O2 and have an incredible deal to share. Been getting loads of calls like this.

Got a call not long ago from someone saying they were with O2 or something like that, but I couldn't really catch what she said the first time. Asked her to say it again and then she snapped, like I was wasting her time or something, saying she'd already told me. That felt a bit off, so I ended the call. Then, right after, they tried ringing me from a different number but I just didn't pick up.

Got a call from 02 who claimed they could offer a better deal. I was a bit wary, so only gave my email. They sent a link, but checking the security info showed it was from EE. Then my phone flagged it as a scam. Watch out! I cut off straight away and blocked the number.

Had a call claiming to be from 02, offering a 'better deal'. Felt a bit iffy and just gave my email. They sent a link, but when I checked the security info, it showed ee instead. Then my phone flagged the call as a scam. Wasn’t taking any chances after that, hung up straight away and blocked the number. Watch out for stuff like this!

Someone rang us claiming a mobile phone would be arriving tomorrow, but we haven’t placed any order for one. The chap said he was from EE and had an Asian accent. Quite odd, really.

They asserted that I had received an iPhone 14 Pro - an absolute lie since I never obtained one! 😒

Also, they mentioned my address was 14 Crawshill Grove, which is completely incorrect.

These individuals are nothing but despicable fraudsters!

I sincerely hope they face the consequences for their actions. 🤞😏

Claimed to be from a promotional department - I inquired a few things and, to my surprise, they requested my name, home address, banking details, and date of birth! Quite the cheeky ask, if you ask me.

I attempted to reach out to EE, but it's been nothing short of a complete swindle. Total charlatans, I say! X
