I got a voicemail from this number but all they said was a reference code, nothing else. If it was legit, surely they’d have given more info, right?

Got a call earlier from what I reckon was an overseas call centre. They rang our company line asking to speak to the business owner. When I tried to find out what the call was about, the caller just said it had something to do with our BT landline. I asked for more info so I could direct them properly, but they got quite abrupt and repeated the same thing, wanting to speak to the owner. When I said I needed more details, they just cut me off. Pretty impolite behaviour overall.

This guy called me claiming to be with Virgin and said he could slash my bills by £30 a month.
