A lady rang me from this number claiming to work for the removal firm the Council had set up. She said she was organising a van to move all my stuff into storage and told me she was from London Barking Council. It sounded a bit off to me.

‭020 4511 3383‬ keeps ringing, it’s some supposed insurance company pushing life insurance. Seems dodgy to me. They’ve called twice already. The first time they rang and then just hung up, so I called back, but the second time when I answered, a woman got on the line. I told her I wasn’t interested and she just ended the call. Proper rude!

Total insurance con artists! if you get these calls, just google action fraud and go to police.uk, hit the report button. then choose report phishing and scroll past the email scams to find where you can report this one. dont need to sign up or anything. be careful out there and make sure to report all dodgy calls!

Claimed to be from Quoteline Direct with loads of background noise. They knew my name and said they weren’t trying to sell anything, just wanted to offer me some options, but kept pushing. Told them no cheers and ended the call. Had a foreign accent. This number has called me twice in a few days - first time it was a foreign lady with a terrible connection, so I just hung up.

Had the exact same deal as many here - a dodgy insurance scam, so I went ahead and blocked the number.

Looks like a scam, since they already seem to have your name and address. I’ve got a few calls like this lately. Makes me think it might be linked to the Easyjet data breach that happened not too long ago. Would be good to find out if others getting calls from this number were also affected by that breach (heard it happened sometime between Oct 2019 and April 2020, if I’m right).

Someone rang me up and somehow had my full name, address, and phone number. They claimed to be linked with every big UK insurance provider. It was clear they wanted details from me, supposedly about some kind of life insurance. They didn’t stick to any Financial Conduct Authority insurance guidelines or data protection laws. Felt like they were just fishing for info. The person sounded Indian Asian, and there was background noise like a call centre. I was immediately suspicious, my scam senses were buzzing.

Got a call from this number earlier, I usually ignore unknown calls. If it was someone I know, they’d leave a message, but nothing. Sounds dodgy to me, probably a scam.

I got a call from someone claiming they needed to discuss my life insurance policy, which I don't even have. Then they started asking about my family and kids, so I said, “If you already know about my policy, surely you’d know NONE exist.” He got a bit flustered and I challenged him, “When exactly did I agree to be contacted by you?” He didn’t take that well and said he’d hang up. Honestly, it was obviously a scam.
