I’m seriously thinking of ditching my phone altogether and only chatting with mates online. Seems like I get more dodgy scam calls than actual calls from pals, and I’m honestly sick of hearing the phone ring all the time 🤬

Some bloke called pretending to be from a debt and credit investigation team, claiming he could help sort out my debts. He even promised to slash them down by 50% and said his company was supported by the government. Didn’t buy it for a second - I reported the number to the TPS and quickly blocked it!

Keeps ringing from various numbers, all a bit different, always asking about debts and credit cards. Sounds like some call centre from India. I've started blocking these calls straight away and don’t pick up if the number's from London. If it's legit, they’ll send a message anyway.

Called me saying they were from the government, something about "IVA". Kept insisting I owed money, which I absolutely don’t. They offered some deal where I’d pay £90 a month, adding up to £6,000, and supposedly all my debts would disappear. Total scam, watch out!
