Got a call from a guy who claimed to be an independent review officer checking up on my Legal & General life insurance. The thing is, I dont even have a policy with them. Got a call from some call centre bloke with a weird accent chatting about rental repairs. He started asking if I'd noticed any leaks or electrical problems at my place. I told him I don’t rent anywhere and told him to remove my number from his list. He sounded quite polite, but I reckon he was just fishing for some info.

I got a call from this number saying it was from HMRE and to press 1. When I did, some automated voice with an American accent told me I was being investigated for tax fraud and that there’s a warrant for my arrest. Absolutely ridiculous, haha!
