Some bloke rang me saying he was from currys.uk and claimed to be working for a few phone networks. He pretended the connection was poor, like the call was breaking up, trying to make it seem legit. Then he went on about upgrading my phone and asked which network I was with. I told him I wasn’t sure, but surely he’d know if he really worked where he said he did. After that, he just started muttering “f*** off f*** off” over and over at me. So I cheekily sang “have a nice day” back at him until he gave up and hung up.

Got a call from 020 4502 2918, and after hearing that it was linked to a scam, I’ve just blocked it straight away. Better safe than sorry with these dodgy numbers.

Somebody called saying they were with O2, but I said I’m not an O2 customer and it must be a mistake. Looking back, I’m pretty sure it was a scam.
