Received a dodgy call purporting to be from EE, offering me a phone upgrade. The catch is, I’m not even with EE! Quite the cheek!

Someone called me saying they were from EE's business department, trying to get me to switch from a personal to a business account. The thing is, I don't even use EE. When I asked how they got my phone number, they just said I must be a business owner, so I’m eligible. But why would they assume that? Feels like a total con to me.
