Somebody from UK Tariffs or something called was on the phone, asking me to hand it over to whoever owns the house. Not sure what that was about.

Someone rang saying they were from UK Tariffs and wanted to talk to the bloke at the house, guessing he deals with the broadband bills.

I didn’t pick up when they rang but then I called back and all I got was them saying over and over “please hold, this call is important.” I’m not sure if they’re trying to scam me or just fishing for money. Can someone explain what’s going on? Really appreciate any help. Cheers, N x
